What is Integrity?

Continental has sought to implement and improve a set of integrity and compliance measures (values, rules and procedures), with the objective of preventing, detecting and interrupting the occurrence of deviations in our activities, such as:

1. Implementation of Policies and Procedures:

  • a) Code of Conduct for Employees
  • b) Code of Conduct for Suppliers
  • c) Code of Anti-Corruption Conduct
  • d) Group Whistleblowing Policy

2. Implementation of James Fisher’s independent Compliance Officer role in Brazil

3. Risk Assessments related to our Business Processes, aiming to ensure the integrity and safety of our employees, suppliers and customers

4. Implementation of Internal Controls

5. External Audit of our Financial Statements

Whistleblowing Channel

The integrity program is capable of preventing irregularities, but it is impossible to completely prevent deviations and undesired situations from occurring within the scope of our activities.

Having integrity also means reporting potential violations and deviations that eventually occur in the workplace. For this, in case of doubt, or if you feel obliged to report a misconduct, the James Fisher Group in Brazil provides an independent reporting line through our Compliance Officer.

It is important to emphasize that this channel is managed exclusively by the Compliance Officer, with supervision of the governance functions established by the James Fisher Group in the United Kingdom, so that the information reported is treated in a confidential, independent and impartial manner. Therefore, please note the importance of using this channel responsibly.
