Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. is committed to:

• Continuously improve in Quality, Safety, Environment and Employees’ Occupational Health when carrying out underwater intervention services, inspection, repair and maintenance services, chartering vessels and operating ROVs, always seeking to be aligned with new technologies available in the offshore Market, in order to achieve the best customer satisfaction with our services.

• Provide a healthy and safe workplace for everyone, through consultation and active participation of employees in the identification, management and elimination of hazards, risks and in taking advantage of opportunities for improvement related to our processes, products and services, as well as establishing operational controls so that all operations are carried out in the strictest quality and safety standards, in controlled environments.

• Guarantee to all employees the right to stop and/or not start work in situations where conditions or practices are considered unsafe, without any type of sanction for interrupting an activity for safety reasons.

• Acting against the use of alcohol and illegal substances by all employees and outsourced workers in the work environment.

• Protect the Environment through the identification, monitoring and management of aspects and impacts, reducing emissions and discharges of pollutants, avoiding material waste and using energy efficiently, thus seeking to increase the sustainability of its operations.

• Ensuring the highest level of corporate and ethical integrity in all businesses, through standards of behavior in which its employees and business partners always act in compliance with laws, contracts, applicable regulations and the company’s internal guidelines.

• To promote the training and continuous qualification of employees, seeking their individual growth, meeting their expectations, the expectations of customers and having social responsibility.

Social Responsability

At Continental, we believe that we should maintain an ethical relationship not only with our Clients and Employees, but also with all stakeholders with whom we relate. We do this seeking to contribute as much as possible to the sustainable development of the society, preserving environmental and cultural resources for future generations, respecting diversity, and promoting the reduction of social inequalities. For believing in the richness and preciousness of our people, Continental supports projects such as Sentrinho, to help disabled people, and projects to aid the underprivileged by promoting labor opportunities through Young Apprentice Program.

The image of Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. must be protected by all its employees.

The Company must be recognized for its technical capacity and good reputation, and, to this end, it is forbidden for any employee of Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. to receive any funds other than exclusively for payment for services rendered, when this is their responsibility to do so. No employees will be involved in any transaction or business that may compromise the services, so that all employees are free from any commercial, financial or any other pressure that may affect their judgment. Those who fail to comply with this determination will be discharged from Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A.

Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. ensures the impartiality of the results of inspections carried out by its employees, so that its inspectors who perform tests at Clients’ premises are not the same as those who perform maintenance services, when these are required, except upon the Clients’ authorization. The technical inspection reports are delivered to the Clients and will contain the results of the tests carried out. It is the Client’s responsibility, together with its technical staff, to evaluate these results, taking the necessary measures as to the maintenance of the inspected structures.

All employees sign a Confidentiality and Conflict of Interests Agreement that ensures the above-mentioned guidelines are followed. In addition to these documents, Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. also has a Code of Conduct and an Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct that all employees receive and sign upon admission.

The employees’ remuneration is relative to the position they hold in the company and not directly dependent on the number of activities they perform. Stakeholders will have access to the services of Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A., without any undue financial or other conditions, and the Company’s procedures will be managed in a non-discriminatory manner. The conditions and requirements previously set forth regarding the independence of Serviços Marítimos Continental S.A. from its stakeholders are conditions for the integrity of the data obtained, as well as its impartiality of judgment.

Health and Safety

Appreciation for the human element in Continental’s production systems is considered one of the key points for the success of any program to be developed in the company. Considering our great concern with all employees and those involved in each project, we maintain a multidisciplinary HSE team working with the implementation of initiatives that enable the preservation of health and physical integrity of all. In this respect, the professionals in the HSE area stand out, including a safety engineer, an occupational physician, and safety technicians, who act in the elimination, control, and monitoring of risks, preventing accidents and diseases.

Sustainability

The concern with creating an ecologically sustainable system is not just a market issue. For Continental, taking care of the planet is to ensure that our children and grandchildren can, just like us, wake up every day to another beautiful day at work. With this in mind, all the resources we use here have the right origin and destination, always seeking zero negative impact.

Waste disposal plans and procedures are strictly followed, and environmental awareness projects are developed and practiced all the time. All the residues we generate are collected separately at the base, and their disposal is done by companies specialized in their treatment. All the environmental aspects of all our activities are continuously assessed to ensure that all impacts are eliminated whenever possible. This is awareness. This is Continental.
